- Andrews Products grinds its cams with the help of a computer with cam design capabilities. This superior technology gives the utmost in both performance and reliability. Only the best alloy steel billets and heat-treating processes are utilized. Furthermore, the power in Harley’s Twin Cam engine can be made even more convincing when superior Andrews computer-designed high-performance cams are installed.
26HG GRIND CAMS
- Can be used with stock springs and tappets
- Works well with carbs or fuel injection
- Good power from 1800-5500 rpm
- Bolt-in cam for lower rpm torque on heavier bikes
- For two-up touring
21HG GRIND CAMS
- Cams work well with fuel injection or carburetor models
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
- Works well with carbs or fuel injection
- Bolt-in cam for more torque with stock compression
- Run best with low-restriction exhausts (1700-5200 rpm)
- Similar to the EV-23 cam
31HG GRIND CAMS
- Similar to 37G but different timing (2000-5800 rpm power range)
- Can be used with stock springs and tappets
- Great cam for motors with 95+ inches and 10:1 compressioin ratio
- Lower TDC lift means easy installation
32HG GRIND CAMS
- 2800-5800 RPM range
- Hi-lift High lift version of 31G. Much more (+20%) power thru RPM range with 10:1+ comp. ratio
37HG GRIND CAMS
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
- Works well with carbs or fuel injection
- Run best with low-restriction exhausts (2200-5800 rpm)
- Bolt-in cams have shown 80+ rear wheel HP
- Smooth idle with broad torque band
50HG GRIND CAMS
- Cams work best at higher rpm of 2500-6000
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
- Designed for 95”+ motors with 9.25:1 to 9.50:1 compression ratio and stock heads
- For lighter bikes
54HG GRIND CAMS
- Cams work best at rpm range of 2200-5600
- Designed for 96” and 103” motors with up to 10: 1 compression ratio
55HG GRIND CAMS
- Coil bind must be checked, but stock tappets can be used
- Designed for engines with 9.5:1 CR or higher with 88-95”
- Cams for maximum torque and horsepower at higher rpm ranges (2600-6000+ rpm)
59HG GRIND CAMS
- Coil bind must be checked, but can use stock tappets
- Maximum torque and HP at middle and upper rpm ranges (2400-6200 rpm)
- For 95”+ motors with 10:1 CR or higher
60HG GRIND CAMS
- Coil bind and valve-to-valve and valve-to-piston clearance must be checked
- Maximum torque and HP at middle and upper rpm ranges (2700-6500+ rpm)
- Designed for 95”+ motors with major head work
64HG GRIND CAMS
- Make maximum torque and HP at upper rpm (3000-6500 rpm)
- Coil bind must be checked, but can use stock tappets
- For 95”+ motors with 10:1 CR or higher
- Heads must be set up for .700 lift cams and flowed for peak airflow
67HG GRIND CAMS
- Hi-lift Performance cams for 95-107+ inches, 10.0 to10.8 compression ratio with high-flow head setup (2600-6400+ RPM)
All Andrews gear-driven cams require four-gear set for installation (DS-199532 or DS-199538 for 99-06 applications; 0925-0166 or 0925-0152 for 07-09 Twin Cam and 06 Dyna applications) . Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance. 59G, 60G and 64G cams are for highly tuned engines and require the knowledge of an expert engine builder for proper setup and installation.
